I trained on the Storytelling Beyond Words course at the International School of Storytelling, Emerson College, which mixes the craft of oral storytelling with finding social and soulful uses for storytelling.
Most of my work revolves around stories of people and place, both as an oral storyteller and a writer.
With sound artist Magik Door (Augustine Leudar) we developed Otherworld, a mythical storytelling piece within a 3D sound installation for Hastings Storytelling Festival. Listen with headphones.

I was commissioned by Applause Rural Touring to collect stories about people’s experiences of the South Downs Rivers, which were turned into storypodcasts. My focus group was people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, who shared amazing experiences of how water had contributed to their wellbeing. I was commissioned by MSL Projects to create Ordinary Extraordinary, collecting the extraordinary life stories of ‘ordinary’ Hastings residents and turning them into a series of story-poems:
