Seaside was a collaboration with the French theatre company Passe-Muraille which toured theatres and schools in the Somme. It is a play in two halves, one by French playwright Bertrand Foly and the other by me. Both of us had a writer's residency in the fishing town of Cayeux-sur-mer, where Passe-Muraille are the resident company. Seaside is our response to the sights, sounds and stories of Cayeux. The show can be performed in English, French or both.
